Purchasing Policy: No Resellers

Parted Magic is sold directly to end users through our online store. We do not sell through third-party software resellers, license brokers, or procurement middlemen who mark up the price and add nothing in return.

Why?

Parted Magic is a small, independently developed product. Our store is built for straightforward transactions — pick a license, pay, get your download. That’s it.

When a reseller gets involved, a two-minute purchase turns into weeks of back-and-forth over custom invoices, special pricing requests, VAT paperwork, and contract terms that don’t apply to how we sell. We don’t have the staff or the overhead to support that, and we’re not going to pretend we do.

If Your Organization Needs Parted Magic

The simplest path is to have the person who will actually use it buy it directly from our store at partedmagic.com. Pricing is listed on the site, license terms are clearly stated, and a standard invoice is provided automatically at checkout — which is enough for most expense reports and reimbursements.

If your organization can’t process the purchase that way and requires a W-9, purchase order, ACH or wire transfer, or vendor onboarding paperwork, that’s what the Enterprise Compliance License is for.
