You will receive full rights to use Parted Magic as many times as you require on any number of machines, with no restrictions placed on how many devices you may erase. There is no fee associated with securely erasing any number of mechanical hard disks, solid-state drives, or NVMe drives. All downloads include the entire Secure Erase bundle: a NIST SP 800-88r2 certificate for every drive (Purge for ATA, NVMe and SAS/SCSI drives); the PM Report Server, which will receive evidence of the live activity as it happens during the wipe process; and cryptographically signed evidence packages, so they may be verified offline by your customer without need for an account or connection to you or any other entity.

Parted Magic is available in a subscription format which has two options, either yearly or quarterly. All subscribers will get all updates that are made throughout their subscription term. Cancellation at any time is allowed from your account dashboard. Upon cancellation you will still retain use of Parted Magic for the balance of the time you’ve paid for; and each version of Parted Magic you download will continue to function forever.

Your subscription will auto-renew and can be canceled at any time from your account dashboard. Canceling will stop future charges; however, it does not generate a refund for the remaining portion of the subscription cycle (i.e., you will still have access until you’ve received the number of months/years that you’ve already paid for).

Single Version

A single payment (not monthly) for the most recent version of Parted Magic. There are no monthly fees or subscriptions; however, there will be no further releases that update this purchased version. If a new version of Parted Magic is released within 30 days of your purchase date, you’ll receive it without cost, and it will appear in your “Purchase History”.

Parted Magic Forever

A one-time payment that grants unrestricted access to use Parted Magic as many times as desired. This license can be used on as many different machines as you like, with unlimited uses of all functions including cloning, wiping, and more. The Forever license includes all future software upgrades for an unlimited amount of time.

This license was designed specifically for large-scale operations (IT departments, refurbishers, ITAD shops, MSPs, schools and universities) that need to sanitize many drives. Many per-seat sanitization tool vendors will charge their clients $100.00 or more per device used as a boot medium, plus $20.00 or more per drive sanitized. For $349.00, the Forever license allows you to sanitize any number of devices across any number of machines within your organization without having to pay for each seat individually, eliminating the need for renewal payments and per-seat math.

You make a one-time payment to obtain this license and you may then use it across every piece of equipment you have in your possession.

Parted Magic Enterprise Compliance License

Getting Started

Parted Magic is a lightweight operating system that has a wide variety of tools for managing disks, recovering lost data, and securely erasing drives. Because Parted Magic can be booted off a USB flash drive or DVD and everything runs from memory, it does not need to install anything to your hard disk drive (HDD).

You will write the Parted Magic ISO to a USB flash drive or DVD, then choose the USB flash drive or DVD as your boot device from your computer’s boot menu when you start your computer. The Parted Magic website has an installation manual for installing Parted Magic using Windows, macOS, and/or Linux. Please refer to partedmagic.com/installation for complete steps.

Your downloadable product link will expire 24 hours after you receive your purchase confirmation e-mail. Once expired, please log in to your account, where the latest version you are entitled to can be downloaded, as well as future upgrades for which you have paid.
